History

Founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1971, Group Z is the world's oldest continuously operating Z Car Club. Based in Southern California, we are a diverse group of enthusiasts united by a love of Datsun/Nissan Z cars.

In Memoriam

With great sadness, we mark the early passing of Ian Stewart.

Group Z is the longest running Z club in the world, and this would not have been possible without Ian. On multiple occasions, when the club was at its weakest, it was his leadership and passion for the Z that revived it. He was a friend, a mentor, a visionary, a technical guru, a racer, and most importantly, a devoted husband and father. He will be forever missed and his legacy will live on in all of us.
